Short Biography of Dr. Martin Klugmayer (born on May 19, 1981)

I, Dr. Martin Klugmayer, have been active in various areas of development and engineering for over 24 years. My professional background is rooted in electrical engineering, where I obtained both a master’s certificate and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering (2018). In 2023, I completed my PhD in Bioengineering and Water Technology.

My core focuses include developing machines for water disinfection as well as researching and implementing liposomal formulations in the field of dietary supplements. I am currently spearheading a large-scale drinking water treatment project in Abuja (Nigeria) for approximately 2.5 million inhabitants. In addition, I am involved in projects in Namibia and Sierra Leone, where I work on sustainable water treatment and disinfectant production.

It is a great pleasure for me to collaborate with the OCS Social Foundation in Zanzibar, contributing my expertise to a project that benefits so many people.
